Hi Bob,
You received a package this morning from FansEdge (jerseys perhaps?!) It is on the table in the mailroom. Please pick it up when you have the chance.
Thanks,
Laura

The best part is that we use Outlook for our company e-mail, so while I was on the phone the body of the message showed up in the form of a little pop-up by the toolbar. Priceless.
*This is not some sort of sneaky way to hide my identity. I don't have a middle name and Lincoln gave me an X. Thanks Abe, but next time maybe an underscore or nothing at all.

whats with that! they used to give x's to people who didnt have middle names at my undergrad. what if your middle name did start with an X (although i can only think of xavier and xylophone).. they are basicly telling you that you might as well not have a middle name if it's going to start with an X. also, maybe you should start going by "Laura X". it sounds pretty hardcore,.. but then again i'd probably have to get you a kwanza gift.. ermm.. nevermind.
as someone whose middle name is x_-&x (x underscore hyphen ampersand x), i am deeply offended by this topic. i felt it was important to address this issue to make you aware of the struggles that a long line of x_-&x's have had to endure since they came to america. i only hope you'll be more sensitive in the future and dont just throw around my name like it's nothing. what do i look like, a $*_+#???? now THAT family is ridiculous!
